Asterra Group is urging European companies to explore opportunities in Moldova’s insurance sector. Company Director Roman Andronic says Europe is still relatively unaware of the great potential in the industry, and they want to attract investors to help expand insurance services.

The business prides itself on innovation. In a bid to compete with state insurance, Asterra are now investigating new opportunities in health insurance. “We could use the know-how of a European partner to better create and promote this package. It is very important to find a partner in this field to make the product the best it can be”, Roman Andronic said.

Having seen considerable growth in the last few years, Asterra Group hope to increase their market share through foreign investment, and are open to selling shares to achieve this. They have already successfully partnered with reinsurance companies from the UK, Poland and Romania and are now particularly interested in hearing from companies in Germany, Romania and Austria.

“A joint venture would allow a win-win situation for both parties”, Roman Andonic said. “We welcome the opportunity to develop a strong business with them”. Asterra group encourages investors to explore the Moldovan economy and see the possibilities for themselves.
