KCB Bank, founded in Kenya in 1896, is now the biggest bank in East Africa. It has independent operations in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and South Sudan as well as Burundi, where KCB entered the market in May 2012.

In Burundi, KCB Bank has ambitious growth plans and will open two new branches in Bujumbura this year.
