Kherson International Airport

Kherson International Airport in southern Ukraine, which opened in 1946, celebrated the completion of an extensive modernisation project in a ceremony in April 2013. The airport’s upgraded terminal is now equipped with the latest passenger-handling equipment and technologies as well as comfortable lounges, including a VIP hall. Kherson International can handle around 150 passengers per hour.

The airport has a 2,500-m runway with a width of 42 m, which supports modern medium-haul aircraft, and Kherson International recently installed a new SP-80 navigation system which meets the highest international standards. Additional services at the airport include cafes, a medical centre, customs and border controls, security, aircraft maintenance and aircraft refuelling.

Discounts for new flights

Kherson International now offers flights to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines and is steadily expanding its route network. The airport provides discounts on aviation fuel, airport services, marketing and other support to airlines which inaugurate new flights from Kherson. Kherson International has significant potential to serve as a hub for charter and scheduled flights to destinations throughout Ukraine, Russia and the CIS countries as well as to tourism centres on the Black Sea coast. Kherson International welcomes new partnerships with airlines worldwide.
