Lodz Airport

With the launch of its new Terminal 3, Lodz Wladyslaw Reymont Airport is ready to join the league of European mid-sized air-travel points. In fact, Lodz Airport has positioned itself to be Warsaw’s second airport and first in central Poland in serving international airlines. CEO Przemysław Nowak says, “SAS’s connection to Copenhagen from Lodz creates major competition for Lufthansa, which we hope will decide to operate here.”

Lodz Airport welcomes new international airlines and routes, especially flights between Lodz and other hubs. Przemysław Nowak explains, “Lodz has attracted massive Asian investment, so for instance Istanbul, a hub for Asian flights, is an ideal destination for Lodz Airport to serve.”
