Spain and Macedonia established the diplomatic relations in 1994. Since then bilateral cooperation was developed in all areas. Their political relations have solid foundation based on sharing same principles and values. Spain has always supported the Euro-Atlantic integration of Macedonia and encourages to accomplish the needed reforms faster.
Spanish business is represented by several large and highly competetive companies. Furthermore, increasing the business presence is one of the major goals for Spanish embassy in Skopje.
Other important objective is to stimulate relations on both political and social levels to find new ways of bilateral cooperation.
