Vienna Logistics is carving out a niche for itself in Rwanda’s high-potential logistics sector. The young, fast-growing company handles customs clearance, freight-forwarding and transport, and will soon launch its own web site. Fred Jabo Bafasha, owner and Managing Director, says, “I see a very bright future for our company. We aim to step up our marketing efforts to attract more customers, and we plan to derive around 85% of our profits from transport services within three years.”
Regional expansion is another goal for Vienna Logistics. Fred Jabo Bafasha plans to set up offices for the company in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania in order to have a presence in the major ports at Mombasa, Dar es Salaam and Nairobi. He also wants to buy more trucks to support the company’s growth.
Vienna Logistics is positioning itself to play an important role in contributing to Rwanda’s economic development and boosting the country’s exports. Fred Jabo Bafasha welcomes the chance to provide world-class transport services to international and local clients in Rwanda and throughout the region. He is also open to investors and partners as Vienna Logistics continues to expand. He says, “My goal is for Vienna Logistics to be among Rwanda’s top five transport companies in 2015.”
