H.E. Prof. Dr. Milan Jazbec is the sixth ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Macedonia. Mr. Jazbec is an author, co-author, editor and co-editor of 36 books, which were published in 6 languages.
Bilateral relations of Slovenia and Macedonia are traditionally friendly. Two countries has intensive cooperation and constant dialogue on variety of levels, such as politics, economy, culture and science.
Slovenia always supported Macedonia in its intention of being part of European Union and NATO. Furthermore, Slovenian Republic provided international development assistance by allocation of 8.7 million EUR for the past 20 years.
