Ybhg. Datuk Hj. Mhd. Amin Nordin Abd. Aziz, 59, has been appointed as the new Kuala Lumpur Mayor for a two year term effective July 18. YBhg. Datuk Hj. Mhd. Amin will be replacing YBhg. Tan Sri Ahmad Phesal Talib after his contract expires on July 17 2015.
The appointment of Datuk Mhd. Amin Nordin as the 11th Mayor of Kuala Lumpur has been approved by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong in accordance with Part 2, Section 4 (2) of the Federal Capital Act 1960.
