Bargala is a Macedonian success story. The company faced bankruptcy in the 1990s but was brought back to prosperity under the leadership of Kostadin Barzov. Bargala now focuses on manufacturing fashionable women’s shoes of the highest quality and with a recognisable design and style based on CMT modality. The company today produces around one million pairs of shoes per year.
Through a strategic partnership with Italy’s Lenci Calzature SpA, Bargala is continuously investing in modernization of the production equipment. The company is now developing recognition of its own brand name. Naum Barzov, Executive Director, explains, “With the global crisis and additional pressure on CMT prices, we decided that the only way that we can make the most of our years of production experience is to create our own brand and to increase its production of it.”
Bargala is open for new strategic partnerships to help it open new roads of opportunities. The company will continue to invest in machinery, energy efficiency and people.
