Hyatt Regency Warsaw

The five-star Hyatt Regency Warsaw, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, has carved out a niche for itself as the preferred hotel for diplomats, heads of state and other high-profile visitors to the city. “We welcomed 17 heads of state in September alone, and we hosted the Polish national football team and other teams during Euro 2012,” explains General Manager Heddo Siebs. The hotel’s upscale amenities include a spa, a restaurant with an open kitchen, a garden terrace where meals are served, an extensive international wine selection, and much more.

Combining the high standards for which the Hyatt Regency is known worldwide with local flavour, the Hyatt Regency Warsaw stands out from its competitors through its location and its outstanding customer service. Heddo Siebs explains, “We have 240 rooms compared to around 340 rooms at most other international five-stars, which allows us to provide more personalized service, and we have a quiet, peaceful location facing beautiful Łazienki Park yet near the airport and within easy access of the city’s top attractions and business venues.”

In a sign of appreciation for its guests, the Hyatt Regency Warsaw has developed special services for visitors from its top markets, including China, as well as services for particular groups, including female business travellers. Throughout the year the hotel hosts “national days” honoring countries all over the world.

Popular choice for VIP meetings

The hotel is a very popular location for high-level meetings thanks to its emphasis on security, its excellent food offerings, and its cutting-edge meeting rooms for groups of different sizes. “For our meetings, banquets and other events, we go for quality rather than quantity. We host many top VIP gatherings, and we are known for the high quality of our food,” Heddo Siebs points out. Like other hotels in the Hyatt group, the Hyatt Regency Warsaw makes an effort to serve locally sourced food, including free-range eggs, and even produces its own honey from hives on the hotel’s roof.

The Hyatt Regency Warsaw is a member of the Warsaw Destination Alliance, which is playing a key role in putting Warsaw on the map as a business and leisure tourism choice. Heddo Siebs says, “Warsaw is a big business capital but we are seeing more leisure travellers, especially on weekends. The Hyatt Regency promotes Warsaw strongly and has created some special tourism packages. We want more travellers to discover everything that Warsaw has to offer!”
