Bringing Macedonia’s Natural Mineral Water to New Markets

Pelisterka, founded in 1953, produces high-quality natural mineral water, juices and other drinks and is a household name in Macedonia. Pelisterka’s bubbly mineral water has an ideal balance of minerals and is the local leader with a 58% market share.

After an extensive modernisation, the 6,750 sqm Pelisterka factory in Medzitlija has a capacity of 18,000 litres per hour of mineral water in plastic bottles and 10,000 litres per hour in glass bottles. In 2008, Pelisterka launched the production of carbonated and non-carbonated juices.

Thanks to its use of the highest-quality water and raw materials, along with its state-of-the-art technology and skilled personnel, Pelisterka has earned a stellar reputation for quality and has become a top-selling brand in Macedonia. Last year Pelisterka introduced its own trademark bottle and boosted its brand recognition in marketing campaigns featuring Macedonian artists and entertainers.
