Numerous guests of the event including representatives of the diplomatic corps, the European institutions, the international organizations, parliamentary, governmental, business and art circles of Belgium had the opportunity not only to discover the authentic Petrykivka style of painting, a remarkable artistic phenomenon of Ukrainian culture, and a characteristic feature of Ukrainian decorative folk art, but also to watch the birth of beautiful fairy tales images painted by craftswomen of Petrikivka who specifically came to Brussels.
In the framework of the presentation of the Petrykivka style of painting in Belgium “Petrykivka” master-class for the spouses of the ambassadors accredited in Belgium was also held in the Embassy of Ukraine.
With able and skillful help of Dnepropetrovsk painters each participant of the master-class had the opportunity to create her own art piece.
