Building Uganda’s road network

SBI/RCC has completed a number of major road projects in Uganda, including the Nebbi-Arua, Karuma-Olwiyo, Kagamba-Rukungiri, Kasese-Kikorongo-Katunguru-Equator and Hima-Kasese-Kilembe roads and the rehabilitation of the Jinja-Bugiri road. SBI/RCC is currently involved in rebuilding and upgrading the Kampala-Masaka, Masaka-Mbrarara, Kabale-Kisoro-Bunagana/Kyanika, Bugiri-Busia/Malaba, and Mbarara-Katuna roads. In addition to road construction, SBI/RCC produces its own materials for road projects in Uganda. Shay Cameo says, “We carry out all stages of highway and road construction, including quarrying and the production and installation of aggregates, asphalt and concrete.”
